傑志宣佈簽入港腳羅素，加強球隊陣容深度，他將會穿上26號球衣。

35歲的羅素英國出生、香港長大，並於2008年在愉園出道，他其後一度回到英國發展，至2014年重返香港加盟南華，亦效力過和富大埔。除港超聯球會外，他亦曾為馬來西亞超級足球聯賽及中超球會效力。羅素去年效力中甲球隊四川九牛，於聯賽上陣19次。

羅素於2016年3月首次披起港隊球衣，至今為港隊上陣20次。

Kitchee can confirm that the Club has completed the transfer of Andy Russell. He will wear the no. 26 jersey.

The 35-year-old defender was born in England before moving to Hong Kong and making his professional debut at Happy Valley in 2008. After a period back in England, he returned to Hong Kong and played for South China in 2014, before representing Wofoo Tai Po in later seasons. Russell also played in the Malaysia Super League and the Chinese Super League. Last year, he played for China League One side Sichuan Jiuniu, appearing 19 times in the league.

Since his international debut for Hong Kong in March 2016, Russell has represented Hong Kong on 20 occasions.
