Kitchee can confirm that the Club has completed the transfer of Andy Russell. He will wear the no. 26 jersey.
The 35-year-old defender was born in England before moving to Hong Kong and making his professional debut at Happy Valley in 2008. After a period back in England, he returned to Hong Kong and played for South China in 2014, before representing Wofoo Tai Po in later seasons. Russell also played in the Malaysia Super League and the Chinese Super League. Last year, he played for China League One side Sichuan Jiuniu, appearing 19 times in the league.
Since his international debut for Hong Kong in March 2016, Russell has represented Hong Kong on 20 occasions.
