傑志今日宣佈，球會簽入現年29歲的中場球員陳肇鈞（Chan Siu Kwan Philip），他將穿起16號球衣出戰各項比賽。
Kitchee have completed the signing of Philip Chan Siu Kwan. The 29-year-old midfielder will assume the No. 16 jersey in all competitions.
Philip started his professional career in 2011/12 season with Sham Shui Po. He joined Yokohama FC Hong Kong a year later. He also played for South China and Eastern before joining Wofoo Tai Po in 2018/19, where he helped the team to win the Premier League and was chosen as one of the Hong Kong Top Footballer that season. He later joined Southern before signing for Rangers last season. Philip’s international career highlights include representing Hong Kong in 2019 EAFF E-1 Football Championship, and representing South China in AFC Champions League Qualifying Play-offs and AFC Cup.
Kim Dong-jin, Interim Head Coach of Kitchee, welcomed Philip’s signing. “We have an injury problem in our midfield with Ho Chun Ting and Cleiton still recovering. An experienced player in his peak, such as Philip, is the perfect solution to our problem. We hope that he can settle in the team and be ready for the League.”
The midfielder has joined the team training and is excited to meet with the fans. “Kitchee is a club that wins trophies. I’m still at my peak as a football player and I want to win trophies for the Club. I also look forward to the AFC Champions League and to prove Hong Kong football in continental level.”
The Hong Kong Premier League will commence in late October and Kitchee is resolute to defend the title. The Club will also represent Hong Kong in the 2022 AFC Champions League with the ambition to exceed the Club’s best result in the competition.
