自去年11月後，傑志終於重返港超聯戰線，今仗面對港會，在開賽15分鐘就由基爾頓開出罰球傳予丹恩奴域頂成1:0。31分鐘，明加索夫與基爾頓在左路配合，後者禁區內射成2:0。44分鐘，潘沛軒右路快放後傳中，丹恩奴域門前接應射入，傑志半場領先3:0。

This was the team’s first league match since November, and the team took the driving seat early as Cleiton’s freekick found Dejan Damjanović, who headed it into the net 15 minutes into the game. 16 minutes later, Cleiton and Ruslan Mingazov worked together to create space for Cleiton to score inside the box. In the 44th minute, Poon Pui Hin charged down from the right before making a low cross to Damjanović, who scored right in front of the goal to give the team a 3:0 lead before half time.

Kitchee scored again 2 minutes into the second half as Roberto scored from the rebound during a corner attack. Mikael sealed a 5:0 victory for the team with a fierce low drive outside the box in the 89th minute as Kitchee walked away claiming all 3 points.
