Kitchee have confirmed the completion of its transfer for Uzbekistan international striker Sherzod Temirov. The 25-year-old will be given the no. 27 shirt.
After coming through the FC Nasaf academy, Temirov had spells in multiple clubs in the Uzbekistan Super League, including powerhouse FC Pakhhtakor Tashkent, before joining Persepolis Football Club and Paykan Football Club in Iran respectively. Temirov also has 2 caps for the national team.
“Temirov is an aggressive player who has great finishing. We definitely need a player like him, and I am sure he will take the team to another level.” Interim Head Coach Kim Dongjin hailed the new signing.
Sherzod Temirov’s registration is nearly finished, the Uzbekistanian could set for making his debut for Kitchee as soon as this coming Friday in the Premier League match against KC Southern.
