
At the age of 16, Shinichi Chan began his professional career at Kitchee in the 2018/19 season and has established himself as a promising player since. He participated in the youth internship program, organized by former Head Coach Josep Gombau in Barcelona, after his First Team breakthrough. This annual elite program offers 30 football talents from around the world to make a major step towards their development in pursuing professional football. Chan signed for Spanish football club Real Unión S.A.D. on loan in the 2022/23 season, where he played for the Spanish side 5 times and registered one goal, until his stay was cut short due to injury.
After returning to Kitchee from loan, Chan became a First Team regular in the 2023/24 season before transferring to Chinese powerhouse Shanghai Shenhua F.C. due to his stellar performance. He continued his outstanding performance, helping his team win the 2025 Chinese FA Super Cup and being selected into Team of the Round for the AFC Champions League Elite Round of 16 first-leg.
Chan’s overall career at Kitchee saw him played 100 times for the Club in 5 seasons, where he guided Kitchee to secure two Premier League titles, Senior Shield, FA Cup and Sapling Cup trophies. His incredible display in the Sapling Cup final in 2020 also earned him the Most Valuable Player award.
Chan has also shone on the international battlefield where he swiftly became a regular for the Hong Kong, China Representative Team, after making his debut at the age of 16. He has represented Hong Kong in many major tournaments such as the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.

Having burst into the First Team in the 2022/23 season, Yuen Chun Him has since established as one exciting young talent to watch for many years.
Yuen, who is a product of the Kitchee youth system, joined Spanish Club C.F. Amposta U19 on a season-long loan in July 2024 after participating in the youth internship program organized by Josep Gombau. Yuen made his official debut for C.F. Amposta U19 against Barcelona U19B in February 2025.
Yuen is also a regular for youth teams of Hong Kong, China, having participated in many international competitions such as the AFC U20 Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers and AFC U17 Asian Cup 2023 Qualifiers etc.

A well-known Academy product, Jay Haddow caught attention when he joined Kitchee Academy at the age of 8 and progressed through the ranks before he signed for Blackburn Rovers F.C. in England in 2016.
The defender spent a whopping 8 years at the EFL Championship side and earned a professional contract in 2022. Haddow played a total of 32 times in the Premier League 2 throughout 3 seasons. His outstanding performance caught the attention of the Japan Football Association where he was called up for Japan U19 at the Maurice Revello Tournament in 2022.
Haddow returned to Kitchee in the summer of 2024 where he quickly secured First Team football, playing a big part for the Club in the 2024/25 season.
