Last Saturday (May 17), Kitchee was narrowly defeated 0-1 by Tai Po in the Hong Kong Premier League.

The first half saw Kitchee under considerable pressure, and they conceded in the 41st minute. Goalkeeper Fynn Talley made a critical save from a close-range header but couldn't stop the follow-up, leaving Kitchee trailing at halftime.

After the break, Kitchee began to assert themselves, with their best chance coming from Luís Machado on the left wing. He connected with a pass from Sherzod Temirov but hit the crossbar. Despite their efforts, Kitchee could not equalize and ended the match with a disappointing loss.
