On Sunday (May 25), Kitchee faced Eastern at Mong Kok Stadium, ending the match in a 1-1 draw.

In the early stages, Luís Machado stood out on the left wing, evading several defenders before receiving a pass from Júnior and taking a shot at the edge of the box, which unfortunately sailed over the bar. Later, Lam Jordan Lok Kan made a promising run down the left, delivering a cross to Ruslan Mingazov in the box, but his shot went wide. Both teams went into halftime without scoring.

Kitchee broke the deadlock in the 2nd half. A clearance from Eastern's defense only reached the top of the box, where Aarón Rey intercepted the ball and pushed it into the penalty area, drawing a foul. Sherzod Temirov converted the resulting penalty in the 70th minute, giving Kitchee a 1-0 lead. However, in the 84th minute, Eastern equalized with their own penalty, resulting in a final score of 1-1.
