3 Academy teams grabbed all 3 points over the weekend.
Tam Chun Hin and Lau Ho Rex both scored to put Kitchee U16 ahead Konter in the first half. Goals from Lau Hin Yau and Kris Suratkal in the second half ensured the U16s took full control of the game. Tam and Eric Ji then scored their respective brace to hit 7 goals past Konter U16 at Shek Kip Mei Park on Friday (September 26).
The victory also happened to the U18s where Pang Hing Lun and Lam Tsun Wing scored in the second half to stage an incredible comeback to beat Konter U18.
Meanwhile, Kitchee U14 got off to a big win in their Premier Youth League curtain raiser against Eastern U14 at Jockey Club Kitchee Centre on Sunday (September 28). Lau Hin Yau scored a first half double to hand his sides the lead. Eastern responded and equalized rapidly after the break. However, Chan Long Fung Roscoe and Raphael Yuan’s goals secured the victory for the U14s.
