The Premier Youth League matchday on Friday (October 17) saw Kitchee U16 and U18 beat their respective opponents – Eastern.
Lam Ka Fung Jonas scored a first half brace in 2 minutes, including a penalty, to equalize for Kitchee U16 after losing 2 goals against Eastern U16. Eastern restored the lead 5 minutes after the break, but Kris Suratkal responded with 2 great goals, including a goal directly from a corner kick in the 70th minute, to seal a 4-3 comeback win for the U16s.
Meanwhile, a dominant Kitchee U18 display ensured a 4-0 victory over Eastern. Lam Tsun Wing opened the scoring in the 7th minute thanks to Li Siu Hin’s assist. The U18s extended the lead 3 minutes later through an own goal from the opponents. Yiu Tsz Leong put more pressure on the Eastern’s backline after he scored in the 33rd minute. Ma Lok Sephrey added the icing on the cake in the second half to wrap up the massive win.
