On Sunday, the 27th, Kitchee faced Golik North District at Mong Kok Stadium, resulting in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
From the outset, Kitchee launched offensive attacks, with both Júnior and Leandro Martínez creating scoring chances but unable to find the back of the net. Júnior even managed to put the ball in the net, only for the goal to be ruled offside by the assistant referee. In the 20th minute, Kitchee finally broke the deadlock when Yumemi Kanda's free kick was headed by Ruslan Mingazov, causing an opposing player to inadvertently direct the ball into their own goal. However, just three minutes later, North District equalized with a free kick, leaving the score at 1-1 by halftime.
After the break, Kitchee continued to attack, but in the 66th minute, North District took the lead with a long-range strike, making it 1-2. Kitchee responded quickly; in the 68th minute, Mingazov delivered a cross from the right, and Lam Jordan Lok Kan outjumped his marker to head in, leveling the score at 2-2. In the 78th minute, Mingazov combined with Kendy on the right, and although his initial shot was blocked, he followed up to score, putting Kitchee back in front at 3-2.
Unfortunately, Kitchee conceded again in the 88th minute, and the match ended in a dramatic 3-3 draw.
