Yiu Tsz Leong scored a brace for Kitchee U18 as they beat HKFC 4-1 and secured the champions of the Hong Kong Premier Youth League U18 (Championship Group Rd.1) with one game to go, having won all 6 games.
A point against the opponents was enough for the U18s to crown the champions of round 1. Yiu’s first goal came just 10 minutes into the first half action. HKFC equalized 10 minutes later, but shortly afterwards, Lam Pak Yin’s strike restored the lead for his sides. Cheung Yiu Hin added one to the scoresheet in the 60th minute through the assist of Ma Lok Sephrey. Yiu bagged his brace in the 70th minute with a beautiful strike to guide Kitchee to the title.
Lee Shing Chun Jayden’s extraordinary form continued as he scored in both halves along with Eric Ji’s goal as Kitchee U16 wrapped up a convincing 3-0 victory over HKFC on Friday (October 31).
While Kitchee U14 produced an incredible comeback as they beat Eastern District 3-1 on Saturday (November 1) through Raphael Yuan’s double and Lau Wing Hei Wyndon’s goal, having conceded just 60 seconds into the match.
