Kitchee U18 wrapped up the Hong Kong Premier Youth League (Championship Group Rd.1) by beating BC Rangers 2-0 on Friday (November 7), having won 7 out of 7 games.
The match at Kowloon Bay Park saw two teams didn’t create enough chances in the first 45 minutes. Ma Lok Sephrey punished the opponents with a great effort after the break as BC Rangers’ defensive error in the 51st minute caused them the goal. The striker scored his double in the 65th minute to guide his sides to win 7 games in a row.
Meanwhile, Kitchee U14 played out a goalless draw with Lee Man on Saturday (November 8). Kitchee now seat second and trial BC Rangers by 2 points. A win against Lucky Mile on Saturday (November 15) while BC Rangers lose to Eastern District will see the U14s become the champions of Rd.1.
