Kitchee U16 are the Premier Youth League (Championship Group Rd.1) champions after they held to a 0-0 draw by BC Rangers in the rescheduled match at Tsing Yi Northeast Park on Friday (December 5).
A point against BC Rangers was enough for the U16s to become the champions, but that didn’t slow down the boys to finish the first stage with a seventh consecutive victory. Kris Suratkal had couple of chances to break the deadlock in both halves, but his efforts were greatly saved by the goalie. Kitchee’s goalie Fok Yat On also produced a remarkable display to keep the opponents at bay. The 0-0 draw saw Kitchee U16 crowned the champions by leading BC Rangers 2 points.
While Kitchee U14 began their Championship Group Rd.2 journey as they put 6 goals past Eastern District at Jockey Club Kitchee Centre on Saturday (December 6).
