The annual Kitchee New Year Cup is back! The 2026 Kitchee New Year Cup comes with 3 different age groups, which are Under 12 (8-a-side), Under 9 (8-a-side), and Men’s Open (7-a-side).
This football tournament, which will be held at Jockey Club Kitchee Centre, features a total of 27 teams in 3 different age groups. 9 teams in each age group will be divided into 3 groups for a single round-robin competition. After the First Round Group Stage, teams with the same rank in each group will compete against one another in the Second Round Group Stage (which will be divided into Cup, Plate, and Shield Competitions) for one more single-robin competition to determine their overall standings. Apart from the competition, the tournament will also feature different fun and exciting game booths for eventgoers.
The application fee is HK$1,900 (14 lunch boxes included) for each Under 9 and Under 12 team, and HK$2,700 (14 lunch quotas at Kitchee Bistro) for each Men’s Open team.
