Hong Kong, 11th—Kitchee claimed a 2-1 victory over Hong Kong Football Club in their latest match in the Hong Kong Premier League on Sunday.

The match began energetically, with Kitchee finding the net just five minutes in. A long pass from Callum Beattie allowed Adrián Revilla to outmaneuver a defender and slot the ball into an empty net, giving Kitchee an early 1-0 lead.

Despite further opportunities to extend their advantage from Revilla, Leandro, and Asier Illarramendi, Kitchee struggled to capitalize on their chances. However, in stoppage time, Leandro delivered a cross from the left flank, and Yumemi Kanda found space at the far post to double the score to 2-0.

Just before halftime, a corner kick allowed the opposition to pull one back, leaving the score at 2-1 as teams went into the break.

In the second half, Kitchee failed to convert any additional chances, ultimately securing the victory with a final score of 2-1, marking their first win of 2026.
