Kitchee U16 and U18 sides both secured vital wins against BC Rangers on Friday (January 16), while the U14s fell to a narrow defeat against HKFC on Saturday (January 17).
The U16s dominated the early exchanges, opening the scoring through a header from Lau Ho Rex following a corner. The lead was doubled just three minutes later when Lam Ka Fung Jonas capitalized on another corner delivery. Although BC Rangers pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 38th minute, a resolute Kitchee defense held firm throughout a scoreless second half to secure all three points.
The U18s showed great character after conceding an early goal in the 7th minute. Goals from Yiu Tsz Leong, Cheung Yiu Hin, and a clinical brace from Lam Tsun Wing ensured a convincing 4-1 comeback for Kitchee.
Kitchee’s U14s faced a challenging fixture against HKFC. Despite a spirited effort, they found themselves three goals down heading into the closing stages. Chan Tsz Yiu Kinson managed to pull one back with a consolation goal just before the final whistle, but it wasn't enough to overturn the deficit, resulting in a 3-1 loss.
