Hong Kong, January 31—Kitchee continued their strong performance at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, securing a 3-0 victory over KC Southern. Kam Chi Kin scored his first career goal in the match.
Kitchee started proactively, with Júnior capitalizing on an opponent's error to take a shot from the edge of the box, narrowly saved by the keeper. Shortly after, Jay Haddow delivered a long pass into the box; Adrián Revilla headed it back for Asier Illarramendi, whose acrobatic attempt went wide.
In the 24th minute, Kendy took a corner from the right, and after Revilla's attempt at the far post, Kam slotted home from close range, giving Kitchee a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, Kanda's cross in the 63rd minute found Júnior, whose shot was saved, but Kitchee extended their lead in the 73rd minute when Dantas scored with a header from a free-kick taken by Kendy, making it 2-0.
Just moments after coming on, Jordan Lam connected with Ruslan Mingazov’s cross and skillfully finished with his right foot, sealing the 3-0 victory for Kitchee, who took all three points.
