A spectacular goal from Yumemi Kanda earned Kitchee a 1-0 victory over Lee Man at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground on Sunday (February 15).
Kitchee dictated the tempo in the opening stages and nearly broke the deadlock just before halftime, but Adrián Revilla’s header from Júnior’s cross was saved.
The momentum stayed with Kitchee after the interval, and they finally took the lead when Yumemi Kanda unleashed a magnificent long-range effort into the back of the net in the 55th minute. As chances became sparse, goalkeeper Pong Cheuk Hei produced an incredible save to maintain the clean sheet and secure all three points for Kitchee.
