Every love story is unique. This time, we’re diving into the romance of our No. 9, Adrián Revilla, and his partner Laura.
On a typical sunny day seven years ago, Adrián pulled up to the beach on a jet ski just to meet some mates. But among the group was Laura, and the rest was history. “There was something about her,” Adrián recalls. “I realized I’d want to stay by her side for a long time.”
Their story eventually took them from the shores to life behind the lens. The couple signed up for a reality show, though it wasn't quite what they expected. “We thought it was just a game show where you win prizes,” Adrián admits. Instead, they found themselves on a program designed to put loyalty to the ultimate test: temptations, confrontations, and even a literal lie detector. The experience was “intense,” but the gamble paid off. “After the show, we weren’t ‘perfect,’ but we came out more united,” says the Spanish striker.
That unity has been the backbone of Adrián’s career. When the call came to cross borders and join Kitchee, Laura didn't hesitate to join the adventure. “She is emotionally very strong,” Adrián says of his partner. “She inspires and challenges me to be a better person.”
As Adrián hunts for more success on the pitch, it’s clear that Laura remains his biggest win off it.
