Kitchee fell to a narrow 1-2 defeat against Golik North District in the HKPL U-22 League at Tin Yip Road Park on Wednesday (February 25).
Despite a slow start, Kitchee went against the run of play to open the scoring in the 19th minute, with debutant Thurain Tun heading home following an assist from Marco Pirie. However, Kitchee conceded the equalizer in the 35th minute, leaving the score level at the break.
A defensive error in the 56th minute allowed North District to take the lead. Kitchee struggled to create significant chances for the remainder of the match, and the 1-2 scoreline held until the final whistle.
