HKPL: Kitchee 4-0 Kowloon City

Kitchee secured a clinical 4-0 victory over Kowloon City in the HKPL home fixture at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground last Saturday (March 14).

The home side opened the scoring early in the 6th minute. Asier Illarramendi initiated the attack with a searching long ball into the penalty area, found by Kendy, who squared a first-time pass for a Leandro Martínez finish. In the 30th minute, Ruslan Mingazov crossed from the right for a composed strike from Kendy to bring the half-time score to 2-0.

After the break, Cheng Chin Lung worked the ball to the right for a first-time cross from Mingazov, which was tapped in by Martínez for his brace. Just before the full-time whistle, substitute Yumemi Kanda combined with Martínez to bring the final score to 4-0, ensuring all three points for Kitchee.
