Kitchee wrap up a demanding three-match week tomorrow (March 21) as they host Eastern at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground in their final fixture before the international break.
Reflecting on the heavy schedule, Head Coach Iñigo Calderón noted that while training has been tailored to manage the workload, the focus remains on performance. “There have been adjustments regarding the loading in sessions... but we have to learn to play with that”, Calderón said. "It will not be an excuse if we don't win tomorrow”.
Despite the current standings, Calderón is wary of the emotional weight of the rivalry. “In special games like these, the table doesn't matter. It’s about doing the little things right and staying focused on our own game”.
