Kitchee’s youth teams enjoyed a successful run of results last weekend, headlined by a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory for the U14s against HKFC U14 on Saturday (March 21).
The match got off to a difficult start as Kitchee conceded just two minutes after kick-off. However, the team showed great character to respond in the 21st minute when Lau Hin Yau leveled the score with a clinical tap-in, sending the sides into the break at 1-1. After falling behind again in the 53rd minute, the U14s continued to press late in the game, with Ng Nok Ching finding a second equalizer in the 76th minute. With the clock ticking down, Raphael Yuan struck the decisive winner one minute before the final whistle to secure all three points.
Earlier on Friday (March 20), Kitchee U16 and U18 respectively recorded 4-0 and 1-0 wins over BC Rangers.
