Kitchee secured the Hong Kong Premier League title with four games to spare on Sunday (April 12), defeating BC Rangers 2–0 at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground. The victory extended their lead over second-placed Lee Man to 14 points, reclaiming the league trophy after a two-season drought.

Needing only a draw to clinch the title, Kitchee controlled the match from the start. The breakthrough arrived in the 38th minute when Ruslan Mingazov latched onto a beautifully weighted pass from Dantas and delivered an immediate cross for Leandro Martínez to finish.

Leading 1–0 at the break, the tempo slowed in the second half, but Kitchee eventually doubled their advantage through a fluid team move. After a series of quick combinations between Wong Ho Chun Anson, Martínez, and Asier Illarramendi, Wong finished clinically inside the box just before the full-time whistle. The 2-0 victory meant Kitchee officially celebrated their status as Champions of Hong Kong.
