Kitchee will face Lee Man tomorrow in the first fixture of the Hong Kong Premier League Championship Group Phase. Head coach Iñigo Calderón has emphasised that although the trophy has been secured, the team remains fully committed to winning every remaining game of the season.
“We are going to try to compete, and especially this game against Lee Man. We want to try to keep being professional and show that character we have in training”, Calderón said.
The Head Coach also made it clear that players must continue to demonstrate a fighting mentality to earn their place on the pitch. “I am not giving away any free minutes. I want to compete, and I want to keep fighting”, he added, underlining the high standards expected as the Club enters this final stage of the campaign.
