Kitchee secured a 2-0 victory over BC Rangers at Tin Yip Road Park on Wednesday (May 6) in the HKPL U-22 League FA Cup.
Kitchee started the match with momentum. In the 24th minute, Lam Jordan Lok Kan opened the scoring following an assist from Cheng Chin Lung. The score remained 1-0 until the final moments of the game when Chan Shing Chun delivered a beautifully weighted pass to Matthew Slattery. A defensive clearance then deflected off Slattery and into the net, sealing a 2-0 win for Kitchee.
With this result, Kitchee advances to face Eastern District next Monday (May 11) at 8:30pm for a spot in the final.
