Kitchee U16 booked their place in the Hong Kong Premier Youth League FA Cup Final with a 1-0 victory over KC Southern U16 last Friday (May 22).
Although Kitchee dominated possession, the team struggled to create clear-cut chances. The breakthrough arrived in the 58th minute when substitute Eric Ji headed home from a Tam Chun Hin cross on the left flank. Ji’s effort proved to be the decider, setting up a cup final against Lucky Mile U16.
Meanwhile, Kitchee U14’s FA Cup run came to an end in the quarterfinals last Saturday (May 23) following a 1-3 defeat to HKFC U14.
