Defending champion Kitchee will begin their 2026/27 BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League campaign Saturday, August 22, against BC Rangers.
Kitchee Head Coach Iñigo Calderón said the team is eager to return to competitive action after a two-month layoff, but emphasized the importance of staying composed early in the match.
“We haven’t played in a while, so I’m sure every player is excited, especially at the start of the game,” Calderón said. “We need to manage those emotions well.”
